We’ve all witness the rapid de-centralizing process taking place in our City. Department of Motor Vehicles, residential compounds, multinational corporations and even governmental establishments have all moved away from over-crowded Cairo. Most importantly, the educational facilities have realized the benefit of decentralizing, and they, too, have moved to better, less populated areas.

There are a lot of features and benefits that the inner city schools might not be able to offer its students. For instance, sports were always an integral part of any educational establishment. Nowadays, it is very difficult for many schools to offer a proper sport facility due to minimal space and endless pollution.

The quiet neighborhoods of honking-free cars and noise-free streets are a thing of the past. Students have great difficulty focusing and paying attention on their lectures when they are constantly being interrupted by noise pollution.

The move of schools and universities to the new cities in Cairo provides the students with remarkable advantages that they cannot enjoy inside the city; playgrounds and track fields are better planned and built in the new cities; harmful pollution is much less outside of the city. Moreover, school buses won’t have a big effect on the city’s traffic when schools are out.
